Inspired by the filming techniques used in the film The Blood of a Poet (Le sang d’un poète) (1930), particularly the scene where the actors are lay but shot from above as though they’re stood, as an actress crawls on the floor, it creates the illusion of her floating upwards. These photographs and this video is to experiment with the technique of having everything set onto the floor and shoot from above.
